El Ayuntamiento de Castellón activará, de nuevo, una nueva campaña en pro del pequeño comercio de la ciudad "demostrando, de esta forma, el apoyo municipal a este importante sector, por lo que ponemos en marcha esta iniciativa para el Día del Padre y el Día de la Madre bajo el nombre de ‘Regala a tu padre/madre todo un año de felicidad’ que llevamos a cabo desde el consistorio a través de la concejalía de Comercio", tal y como ha explicado la concejala de Comercio, Marisa Ribes, quien en la presentación de esta campaña ha estado acompañada por los comerciantes Dorín Sánchez, Ismael Bonet y Graciliano Segurado.

 La directora del Institut Valencià de la Música, Inmaculada Tomás, ha explicado hoy que el XIV Festival Internacional de Música Antigua y Barroca, que se llevará a cabo entre los días 1 y 10 de agosto, conmemorará las figuras del poeta valenciano Ausiàs March y del compositor barroco Haendel.Tomás ha afirmado que este festival que organizan el Institut Valencià de la Música, la Diputación de Castellón y el Ayuntamiento de Peñíscola se ha consolidado como un espacio de recuperación de un repertorio de cinco siglos y que ello ha supuesto que grupos españoles y sobre todo de la Comunidad Valenciana ya de alto nivel profesional potencien su trabajo en estas materias. |

La Conselleria de Medio Ambiente, Agua, Urbanismo y Vivienda, a través
de la Entitat de Sanejament d’Aigües Residuals (EPSAR), ha licitado la
dirección de las obras de construcción de la nueva Estación Depuradora
de Aguas Residuales (EDAR) y colectores generales de Peñíscola.
El
presupuesto base de licitación de esta actuación es de 937.744 euros,
mientras que el del contrato principal, es decir, la construcción de la
depuradora y los colectores generales de Peñíscola asciende a
29.424.051,11 euros.
La secretaria autonómica de Medio Ambiente,
Agua, Urbanismo y Vivienda, Mª Ángeles Ureña, ha asegurado que la nueva
EDAR de Peñíscola “es uno de los proyectos hídricos más importantes que
iniciará la Generalitat Valenciana en 2009”. En concreto, “permitirá
crear las infraestructuras de conducción y depuración necesarias para
garantizar la calidad de las aguas depuradas en este municipio
castellonense”.

La
Junta de gobierno local, celebrada esta semana, ha aprobado las
memorias de los distintos proyectos que se presentarán al Plan Especial
de Apoyo a la Inversión Productiva en Municipios de la Comunidad
Valenciana.
El proyecto que centra la inversión es la obra de mejora
del núcleo suburbano, por un valor de 1.453.561,20 €, de un total de
1.533.163 € que puede aportar en total el gobierno autonómico en el
municipio.
El proyecto se concreta en la mejora del espacio público
urbano e infraestructuras de las calles Virgen de Ermitana, travesía
Felipe II, Pescadores, Antonio Castell y Rio, entre otras.
La obra
propuesta por el equipo de gobierno "responde a una necesidad de mejora
en la zona, que necesita revitalizarse a nivel comercial y renovar las
infraestructuras básicas que están ya obsoletas, como las
canalizaciones y la iluminación", aseguraba Andrés Martínez, alcalde
del municipio.

El Ayuntamiento de Peñíscola, en colaboración con el cronista oficial de la ciudad, Juan Bautista Simó, han solicitado a la Universitat Jaume I su colaboración para la creación de un Huerto Botánico Pontificio. Así lo han transmitido el alcalde, Andrés Martínez y el cronista oficial a la vicerectora de la universidad castellonense, Leonor Lapeña, durante su visita al campus.
Las dos instituciones estudiarán las formas de colaboración aunque “parece que el establecimiento de un convenio marco de colaboración es la mejor fórmula para establecer vínculos entre ambas” explicaba el primer edil.
El objetivo de este proyecto concreto es “ofrecer un nuevo atractivo turístico relacionado con la cultura y el patrimonio de nuestra ciudad a través de la difusión y el fomento del conocimiento de los componentes de la Tisana del Papa Luna” explicaba Martínez, por lo que la propuesta se concreta en la creación de un huerto donde cultivar y exponer los ocho componentes de la infusión.
